50C 1921D PCGS MS65 DAKOTA

$25,000.00

After going through 2000 coins from the Dakota Collection we know how quality oriented the collector has been. This coin is a prime example!

We have seen several MS65 21D’s in our career. Most we have not liked. They can be soft and dull. This coin is far superior and actually has life!

Shimmering surfaces are satiny, smooth, and are surprisingly super clean. The dreaded right field is cleaner on this coin than many higher grade commoner dates we have seen. A full booming luster shows off the nice totally ORIGINAL creamy white color. Most important, Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck for the date. This is definitely NOT a flat coin. The eye appeal is tremendous!

PCGS 30, NGC 18, CAC 5 (with NONE higher). PCGS and NGC each have graded just 3 coins higher after 25+ years of operations. The last 21D to sell in a major auction was a PCGS /CAC coin. It realized $32,200.00 02/11 Heritage. The current CDN WHOLESALE BID/ASK is $22,000/$24,000.00. We figured this coin at virtually NO premium!

Do not be fooled by the pops. We have forever considered this date in full GEM to be the silent “stopper” for the series.
