VERY HIGH END!
Super satiny surfaces are as clean and handsome as you will see for this date. A strong luster also shows off plenty of “original skin”. A pretty light ORIGINAL layer of golden brown evenly covers the surfaces (the image does not do this coin justice). Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck (16S can come pancake in strike). The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 87, NGC 53, CAC 12. The last 1916S to appear in major auction brought $7,050.00 1/13 Heritage and it was NOT CAC. There is only 1 MS66 PCGS/CAC piece. We can’t stress enough how infrequently these appear.
