50C 1916D PCGS MS66

We have not seen or handled anything remotely similar in years. This is one funky neat SUPERB GEM!

Overall, the coin is totally MS66 calibre. The surfaces are pretty clean. Only with a glass can you see some lines and light scuff HIDDEN in the dreaded right field. A surprisingly strong luster shows off the peripheral colors of purple/navy/golden brown all over. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck (this date does not come stuck up like 1943P’s). The eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 63, NGC 37, CAC 13. The last PCGS CAC piece to sell in auction brought $5,405.00 01/2015 in a depressed auction. We paid more for this coin! We rarely see these offered. Opportunity knocks here for sure!
