We fell in immediate love with this stunning totally ORIGINAL SUPERB GEM! It has a crisp fresh look we hardly ever see anymore.
The surfaces are pristine. We believe this coin came from the bank and was placed somewhere safe and never touched until it was placed in its current PCGS holder. A strong luster shows off the wonderful satiny texture. Both sides have a light golden brown/pale greenish gold/pale reddish gold mix that primarily frames the features. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have exceptional pinpoint sharp strikes. The eye appeal to us is amazing!
PCGS 15, NGC 7, CAC 6. The last one sold in a major auction brought $4,406.00 07/2013 Heritage. Prior to that, none had been sold since 2011! Do NOT be fooled by the pops, this is a VERY scarce and UNDERvalued date-in our opinion!
