50C 1915-S PCGS MS64+

This is a beyond nice SUPER HIGH END GEM!. An intense frosty luster on both sides is so strong it could guide the space shuttle in on the darkest night. We never see a booming luster like this on the later dates. The surfaces are remarkably smooth and are problem free.  We do note some microscopic lines and ticks which are only visible when using a strong glass. There some hints of peripheral toning on the obverse. The eye appeal is awesome and is way superior to how these typically come (this blows away few MS65’s we have seen)! PCGS 102, NGC 82, CAC 13. There are only 3 MS64+s graded at PCGS, none at NGC. This is the PCGS CAC piece that sold in our auction or $2,350.00 07/2017. We can’t stress enough how ridiculously hard this series in MS has been spanked by the market. We think a coin like this should be $2,500.00-$3,500.00-but that is just our opinion.
