This is a good ‘old fashioned” Proof with beautiful “old fashioned” original colors!
Ice like mirrors leave a strong impression. They are deep, crystal clear, super clean, and offer super reflectivity. A kaleidoscope like mix of totally original moderate shades of blue/olive/pale green/gold/violet/pale navy colors fully cover the coin and swirl around gently. Miss Liberty and the details are actually thickly frosted and have needle sharp strikes. The eye appeal is fantastic!
ONLY 972 were ever minted. PCGS 10, NGC 20, CAC 3. NO PCGS CAC piece has ever sold at auction. In fact the last PCGS piece to sell was back in 2010. That coin brought $8,913.00 Goldberg.
