50C 1877-S PCGS MS66

Simply incredible in every respect! Mother Nature and the coin gods got together and created something really special here. Remarkable surfaces are ultra clean. Only using a strong glass can you see some light die polishing lines. There are no hidden problems. Besides and intense luster that beams from all over, this coin is fully prooflike. You don’t even have to twirl it to see the bold flash of the mirrors. Mother Nature bathed both sides in a gorgeous original mix of moderate blue/green/lime/gold/pale rose colors. A peacock in heat would be jealous! Miss Liberty and the details stand out with crisp full strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 27, NGC 18, CAC 7. PCGS has graded only 2 coins higher. We do not understand why with its killer eye appeal PCGS did not + it. We can assure you, you won’t see many Seated Halves of ANY date looking like this. If you seek color, you don’t have to use your imagination here. Because of the color, you can’t value this like a typical MS66.
