50C 1868 PCGS MS66

OMG! How in the world did this coin survive 149 years in such an incredible  state of perfection? The surfaces are both pristine and are prooflike. Even using a strong glass will not reveal anything but a microscopic tick-and NO imperfections of anything else. A strong luster also highlights the totally original and totally beautiful mix of pale olive/sea green/deep lilac/lavender/champagne colors. Of course Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and enjoy extra thick frost. The eye appeal is great! PCGS  1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has only graded 1 coin finer. This coin has NEVER appeared in auction and was not in the late Gene Gardner’s incredible collection (he had an NGC MS65 that sold for $9,988.00 05/2105). With MS Seated still being “off”, NOW is the time to put away or start a collection of these. A really high end coin like this can NOT be duplicated!
