By far one of the nicest PRE 1870’s MS Seated Halves we have seen in along time. This coin has spectacular quality and borders on MS67.
Shimmering soft white surfaces appear amazingly clean and lustrous. Only using a strong glass can you detect any trivial chatter. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably struck and have light frost. This coin has a lot of life and eye appeal.
This is an exceptionally hard to find Civil War date. PCGS 3, NGC 1. In 1/08 this coin sold at a major Heritage auction for $25,300.00. We bought this coin really right and are pleased to pass on the savings.
