Now here is a date we have never owned before. This coin is NOT from any auction, we purchased it from an old time collection and this is its first appearance in years.
As usual, PCGS showed no mercy to the grade. That’s probably why after 21+ years of certification, there is NOTHING higher than a MS64.
THIS COIN IS OF ULTRA HIGH END QUALITY! Both sides are amazingly clean and have a soft satiny texture. There are a few teenie TONING dots scattered around. A surprisingly strong luster really makes you shake your head at how flawless the fields are. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 7, NGC 1, CAC 1. One did sell in a Stacks auction for $12,650.00 05/10. This coin is far nicer than that one was. Remember, PCGS has NO MS65’s. Opportunity Knocks loud for any Seated specialist.
