Totally original and beautifully toned! We do consider this coin to be VERY high end too!
This coin has a slightly older tag and has NOT been to PCGS for regrade. In our opinion, this coin is strong candidate for+ (we always get the + on coins we never expect, not the ones that should). The surfaces are impeccably clean and smooth. Both sides have a gorgeous mix of pale gold/green/pale olive colors. the luster is super strong and really shows off the colors. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is terrific!
PCGS 16, NGC 42, CAC 6. PCGS has graded only 8 coins higher (of which only 2 are CAC’d). These are NOT easy to find in fresh, ORIGINAL, MS65. A NON CAC 1837 PCGS MS65 sold for $17,250.00 in Heritage 2009. In 2010 an NGC MS65 SOLD for $19,550.00. Opportunity knocks loud here!
