0-104a. WOW! That was a huge title! But then this is a huge and important GEM Bust half.
We picked though the Newman sale very carefully. We stayed away from the cleaned and retoned coins in the sale. This coin clearly is totally ORIGINAL. The surfaces are semi-satiny and are super clean. Even with a strong glass you will NOT find ANY problems. A surprising full booming luster shows off the the totally ORIGINAL and beautiful colors of a thin band of blue on the rims which open into vibrant sandy gold/pale champagne centers. There is a pinpoint toning dot by the eagles left upper wing on the reverse. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal is super!
PCGS 12, NGC 22, CAC 8. No PCGS CAC piece has ever sold at auction. Forget about the famous pedigree of this coin. The value is unquestionably there with out it!
