We think this coin sold in Newman as a MS63. No way was it that. In fact, to us it looks like a high end MS64! No hype, just facts.
The surfaces are really pristine. Even with a strong glass there is nothing to find negative. There is a very good luster which enhances the totally ORIGINAL moderate pearl grey/pale olive/lavender toning. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
PCGS 87, NGC 5, CAC 15. In Newman this coin brought $2,937.50. Good luck finding ANY MS64 Bust Halves PCGS CAC these days for below $4,000.00! We did not buy this out of the sale.
