50C 1831 PCGS MS-66

WOW! The colors eye appeal, and quality of this monster rank at the very top of the Bust Half killer scale! The ONLY thing that keep this coin from grading MS67-there is a small toning spot on the chin. Otherwise, the surfaces are as pristine and lustrous as you will ever see. Both sides have a marvelous light blue/gold/pale violet color scheme. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. It definitly is a hard coin not to like and you cvertainly would have a hard time topping it. We have owned this coin before and will always welcome it back. Right now you can’t find ANY PCGS MS66 Halves on the market. The lone 1827 that was in the Heritage sale went for a wild $32,200.00! Granted, that was a touch nicer, but if this coin had been in that sale, the price we’re asking would be considered a steal (we think all MS 66 Bustis are cheap at this level-the market finally has woken up)! PCGS 4, NGC 14. This coin is EX PITTMAN.
