Bought this from a major “crackout” dealer who gave up on trying to get it into an MS65 holder. We think its high end, but not that high end!
The cleanliness to the naked eye is clearly why he thought it had a shot to MS65. However, under a glass, you can see a teenie light tick or two. A very strong luster also illuminates colors of pale purple/champagne/gold that blend together evenly on both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 42, NGC 44. We do know the “crackout dealer” lost some money on this piece! His loss, your gain! The last one to appear in auction brought $5,520.00 9/08 Goldberg-the one before it sold for $5,175.00 07/08. We’re not selling via auction, so you get a much better deal here!
