We love this coin to death! It is so fresh, ORIGINAL, and high end!
We can’t stress enough how close to full MS66 quality this SUPERB coin is. The surfaces are super clean and super smooth. Even with a strong glass it is impossible to find ANY problems of ANY size, ANY where. A stunning radiate luster beams from all over. Of course it shows off fresh and totally ORIGINAL colors of olive/rose/pale blue. Miss Liberty and the details are super frosty and have surprising razor sharp strikes. The eye appeal is tremendous! This is a coin you will fall in love with forever (we keep looking at it)!
PCGS 15, NGC 8, CAC 7. There are only 2 graded MS65+ by PCGS (with 4 in MS66). About the price, we tried to buy a 1831 PCGS/CAC 50C in the Heritage Summer FUN Sale this week-we quit when it hit $13,225.00-and that’s a much commoner coin from the 1830’s!
