This is a lovely totally original coin. For 192 years this coin sat somewhere totally protected. It has mellowed nicely over that time. The surfaces are remarkably clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass there are no defects to be found. A moderate luster shows off wonderful and totally original shades of lightly mottled pale purple/pale navy/deep golden brown which are evenly spread out all over. Miss Liberty and EVERY detail are sharply struck and do stand out (the rims and stars especially). The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 59, NGC 76, CAC 15.
