We unhesitatingly grade this coin an MS63.9! It is really an ULTRA HIGH END piece. Sensational surfaces are just that. There are ZERO impairments visible anywhere. Even if you use a strong glass, you won’t see anything worse than some stray light lines and a single small cut. A surprising luster beams vividly all over. Both sides have a totally original ring of warm olive/pale navy color that opens into deep champagne/pale lavender fields. This coin is far from dull or drab. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and have decent frost. You do NOT need a glass to see the 17/3. The eye appeal of this coin is super! PCGS 4, NGC 4, CAC 2. PCGS has graded possibly 5 coins higher. Legend Rare Coin Auctions just sold a PCGS MS63 (NO CAC) for $27,025.00 in our Sept 29th Regency 18 auction. It is also important to note, a NGC MS63 CAC sold for $25,850.00 08/2016-NOT this coin. Another note, the MS64 CAC sold  for $61,688.00 07/2013.As you can see, this coin is extremely rare and valuable in MS63 and higher. Opportunities to buy a nice MS example happen years apart.
