We surrender! We have not only crossed this coin, but submitted it 4X seeking at least a + or a MS65. We still do not see what ever PCGS does-but 4x that have sent us a message. So we give up!
Amazing surfaces are slightly semi-prooflike. They actually are also pristine. Even with a strong glass you will find NO impairments. Both sides have a full booming luster which illuminates pretty and totally ORIGINAL colors of royal blue/purple/violet/gold that swirl all over in semi bands. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and have light frost. There is no real dark patches on the high points. So hard to see what PCGS did not give it at least a +. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 27, NGC 28, CAC 6 (deduct 2 from the pops). This coin sold in Newman for $9,400.00. Our loss is your gain!As an MS65 PCGS CAC this coin would be worth at least $15,000.00.
