$50 PAN PAC OCTAGONAL PCGS MS64 GOLD COMMEM

If we are lucky, once every year or so we find a nice and unmessed with PCGS graded piece. If you are a gold coin lover, these huge Octagonal coins are heaven! They have it all-a lot of gold, a beautiful design, and an incredibly low mintage. We are pleased to have been able to purchase this coin for an extremely attractive price.

No question this coin is VERY HIGH END. Unlike most Pan Pacs, this coin is fresh and totally original. So many have had putty or a light spray of color added. Take our word on this, CAC is even tougher than the grading services on these! The surfaces do have original “skin”. A strong luster shows off the cleanliness and the beautiful pale orange gold color. Just a few small hidden lines keep this coin from a MS65 designation. All of the details are exceptionally struck and stand out boldly. The eye is phenomenal!

Any major dealer who is experienced with PP Octs will tell you the pops are incorrect as many have been broken out for higher grades. You definately do NOT see PCGS coins offered with any real frequency. Only 645 were minted. PCGS 118, NGC 175. The next step up costs a tidy sum of at least $150,000.00-if you can even find one!
