WOW! We were doing a friend a favor by taking 2 of his coins up to CAC after the Philadelphia show. This coin and another expensive gold coin. We could not get this coin out of our heads. So the second it came back to our office from CAC, we bought it! We didn’t chisel-we just had to own it! The other coin was amazing too-we decided we couldn’t let that one go either. So we committed on it later and sold it the next day mentioning it to just one person. Still, our heart is with is special piece

This coin has many incredible attributes that even coins of higher grades do not have! The rims are wired and are almost perfect-something you rarely see on these. The obverse is fully prooflike. All you can see in the fields are some LIGHT lines. There are NO major ticks or hits. Both sides are a beautiful deep yellow gold. There are NO discolorations or spots. Alll of the details are well struck and clearly have beautiful gold frost. The reverse has ZERO imperfections and is incredibly struck. Also, there is NO question this coin has NOT ever been messed with (as so many have). The eye appeal is so spectacular we could not get this piece out of our minds or put it away (its been on our desks everyday now).
