$50 1852 ASSAY 900 SLUG PCGS XF 45

This is a SUPERB GEM XF 45! Legend Numismatics had been chasing this coin for a year. It was owned by an investor/dealer. He finally want to raise some cash. We could not buy this awesome slug fast enough! Seriously above average surfaces have a few minor tiny and scattered marks-with NONE that are big or stand out. Overall, the edges are clean and have no serious bumps. Typical for the coin, the luster is very light , but when you tilt the coin you can see it. No question this coin is totally original (the majority we see these days are not). Both sides are a deep gold color. There are NO stains or high point discolorations. All of the details are well struck and exhibit smooth and even light wear. The eye appeal is just awesome! PCGS 16, NGC 6, CAC 2. The last 1852 Assay to sell in auction was a NON CAC. It realized $44,063.00 01/2014. Fast forward, here you have a GEM XF that was a dealers personal coin, is much approved by Legend Numismatics, PCGS and is CAC beaned. Even the pickiest buyer has to admit that spells quality! P.S Legend just loves original slugs. We’re always buying.
