There is a small planchet inclusion (Mint made) in the left obverse field (visible only w/a glass), otherwise this coin is 65.9!
The quality overall is fantastic. The surfaces are satiny, smooth, and actually are very clean. Most important, both sides shine with a strong luster. The color is a beautiful deep yellow gold. There are NO spots or discolorations. Every detail is frosty and is sharply struck. The eye appeal is tremendous!
PCGS 42, NGC 41, CAC 8. PCGS has graded only 3 coins MS65+. A NON CAC piece recently sold for $16,100.00 1/12 Heritage. There are NO MS66’s graded by either PCGS OR NGC (that’s a powerful statement as to how these do NOT come-nice)! Opportunity definitely knocks loud here!
