Only a few hidden ticks are what keep this near GEM from a full MS65 designation. To the naked eye, the surfaces look smooth and clean. Both sides are spot free and have a great deep gold color that is enlivened by a strong luster. ALL of the details are frosty and have sharp strikes. The eye appeal is wonderful!
PCGS 299, NGC 355, CAC 13. In MS65, PCGS has graded only 9 coins with NONE higher (if you could find an MS65 it would cost $30,000.00++).
