A standout SUPERB GEM!
We saw this coin from across the room. It has an intense luster. The surfaces are smooth, satiny, and have no major problems. Both sides are an even ORIGINAL pale orange/gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have full strikes. The eye appeal is fabulous!
PCGS 25, NGC 28, CAC 9. This is the ONLY MS66+ graded by PCGS. Coins like this took a slight tumble last year in sympathy with the price of gold dropping. They’ll be back up as their numismatic values are far greater then “guilt by association” of gold.
