This is an exceptional GEM.
Outstanding surfaces are clean to the naked eye. Only when using a strong glass can you find a tiny scuff/frost break or two. Totally original “skin” is visible and looks thick and satiny. The luster is moderate. Both sides are a neat original orange/yellow gold color. There are no spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and the details are frosted and are fully struck. The eye appeal is phenomenal!
PCGS 78, NGC 110, CAC 19. PCGS has graded only 5 coins in MS65+ and 5 higher. NO PCGS MS65+ has ever been sold via auction. NO PCGS CAC has ever been sold via auction either. We do think the next step up is a minimum of $10,000.00 easy (for a CAC piece). Great looking PCGS CAC gold like this is impossible to find these days.
