It boggles our single brain cells how this coin has survived 174 years in such choice condition. For us, it was love at first sight! Outstanding surfaces have only scattered nearly microscopic ticks. Overall, the surfaces look smooth. There are even slight traces of semi-prooflike mirrors. There is NO question this coin is 100% original. Both sides are an even deeper gold color. There are NO spots or stains. Miss Liberty and the details are extremely well struck. Everything seems to be thickly frosted too. The eye appeal is fantastic! PCSG 15, NGC 12, CAC 3. PCGS has possibly only graded 5 coins higher (all MS64’s w/only 2 cac’s) after all these years.NO PCGS CAC piece has ever sold via auction. The last PCGS piece to sell-a NON CAC of course, brought $8,812.00 11/2013. That is more then powerful proof as to how rare these are! Want something different for a Type set? Love earlier gold?
