$5 1827 PCGS AU58+

For those of you like us who can’t stand the MS60 grade, this coins grade-AU58+ is perfect! It really is a VERY HIGH END borderline MS coin!

The wear is only visible with a glass. These are no discolorations or flat dark spots. Both sides actually emit a decent luster. This coin definitely is NOT scrubbed up or messed with. Only a few trivial ticks are visible. The surfaces are also completely ORIGINAL. The color is a deeper orange gold. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have extra sharp pinpoint strikes. The eye appeal is phenomenal!

PCGS 1, NGC 0, CAC 1. PCGS has graded possibly 9 coins higher. No AU58 (pop 2) has been in auction since 2004 (EIGHT years ago)! An MS61 sold for $61,000.00 08/07 Stacks (non CAC of course). We can not stress enough the extreme rarity of this date and grade. The chances of finding another QUALITY oriented example could take years!
