Anytime we find one of these that is nice, we always go out of our way to try and buy it. Obviously, this is our first one in many YEARS! We are not afraid to pay strong for these as they appear so infrequently. This coin was worth the wait!
This coin is a pleasing acceptable AU50. It has some light ORIGINAL toning scattered over the surprisingly mark free surfaces. A few light lines are visible with a strong glass. Miss Liberty and the details are also very well struck. The wear is light and even. The eye appeal is pretty neat!
PCGS 3, NGC 1, CAC 1. Even CAC has only stickered a grand total of 6 for the date in all grades. Throw out all price guides as these sell so infrequently every time one sells (of any grade) that is the new market price! If you are searching for one of these, this is a VERY rare opportunity!
