This is the first AU specimen of these we have ever owned or handled. No question this coin was worth the wait!
Totally ORIGINAL surfaces are not banged up. Using a strong glass, all you can find are a some light lines. There are NO spots or discolorations. A decent luster shows off pretty deep gold color. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck and do stand out. The eye appeal is excellent!
PCGS 25, NGC 49, CAC 6. The last one of these to appear at auction was back in 09/2007, and that brought $9,487.00 at Superior. These just do not appear with any frequency-in ANY grade! Opportunity knocks really loud here!
