We have not handled one of these in years. They do not come nice at all. This piece was a delight to find!
There is no question this coin is a crisp ORIGINAL piece. The surfaces reveal a few light scattered lines. There are No marks. The luster is light and does show off some ORIGINAL light “dirty” type toning. The color is a deep yellow gold. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. the wear is light and is not discolored. The eye appeal is pleasing!
PCGS 18, NGC 11, CAC 5. Of course NO PCGS/CAC pieces have sold in any major auctions. In fact the last PCGS piece sold in 2009 for $7,188.00. We are pleased to offer this excellent example at a very fair price!
