3CS 1868 PCGS PR66 CAMEO EX JEU/LEGEND

This SUPERB GEM Proof 3CS has been with the Legend family for almost 20 years. Prior to it being in the #1 all time PR 3CS Legend Collection, we had placed it in the JEU collection (the former #1 set). We have since replaced this coin with a PCGS PR67 CA. Now its time for this piece to find a new home.

Based upon the coins history, you know the quality is all there and then some. We’re not going to put junk in a #1 set!

To start, both sides have exceptional deep mirrors. There is a trace of milkiness-not haze. The color is a soft white/pale gold. There are NO problems anywhere. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and is generously frosted. The eye appeal is very pleasing!

ONLY 600 pieces were minted. PCGS 5, NGC 3, CAC 3 (this coin might be on the pops). The last 1868 PR 66 CA to sell in major auction brought $6,325.00 08/2011 Heritage. This is the first time in 20 years this coin is for sale. NOTE: the pedigree is JEU on the holder, we can add Legend if you wish.
