3CS 1866 PCGS PR65 DCAMEO

VERY high end! this coin was purchased by a “crack  out” dealer from our 07/2017 Auction. We are told he tired it 2x and gave up. PCGS was brutal tight on this GEM! Deep mirrors vividly beam from all over. The mirrors have great clarity, cleanliness, and  are intensely reflective. If you twirl the coin all you see is a powerful rolling silvery flash. There is some faint gold by the rims. There is NO haze anywhere. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has thick frost. The eye appeal is stunning! ONLY 725 were minted. PCGS 1, NGC 1, CAC 1. PCGS has graded only 3 finer. This coin last sold 07/2017 for $4,935.00. Prior to that it brought the same in 2015 as a non CAC. This truly a great example of a very rare date.
