Technically, this coin is a PR67. However due to the deeper (but NOT black or dull) ORIGINAL toning this coin is graded a PR66. The mirrors are pretty much perfect and look like glass. They do have good reflectivity. Both sides are evenly covered by a moderate mix of navy/olive/pale magenta colors that all intermingle. Every detail is perfectly struck and stands out. You can tell this coin sat somewhere undisturbed for a very long time! The eye appeal is pleasing!
ONLY 470 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 17, NGC 15, CAC 6. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $3,819.00 1/13 heritage. We rarely ever see these this ORIGINAL and nice!
