Only a microscopic line keeps this coin from an MS66 designation. Regardless, the surfaces appear satiny, smooth, and clean. A strong luster illuminates pretty olive/dove gray toning on both sides. There hardly are any clash marks visible (which is quite unusual). All of the details are sharply struck and are clearly visible. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 22, NGC 39. Priced below $1,000.00 a GEM OBSOLETE coin thats 148 years old has to be a great deal.
