3CS 1859-1873 PCGS CAC PR65-67

Legend Numismatics is proud to now own and offer this incredible collection of GEM Proof Three Cent Silvers. This set is the second finest in existence and was exclusively assembled by Laura Sperber, the President of Legend and the owner of the #1 all time PR 3CS Silver set. Several of the coins are duplicates from the #1 set.

This set took a few years to build. It was constructed for a very picky customer who always wanted to build a set of GEM PR 3CS pieces. If a major business venture had not come up, the collector would still own the set. As with any great set Legend builds, we love to buy them back. This set was no exception.

A collection like this can not be duplicated. We can assure you the #1 set is not coming out any time soon. So if you seek an extraordinary PR 3CS set-here it is! Sorry, we do not have the heart-no matter how much we get offered to break up this masterpiece.

1859 PCGS PR65 CAC. Strong mirrors are clear, clean, and have strong reflectivity. Deeper shades of original navy/purple colors swirl all over. Every detail is frosty and has a needle sharp strike. The eye appeal is really nice! The current Collectors Universe Value is $2,500.00

1860 PCGS PR66 CAC. outstanding mirrors are deep, crystal clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. Both sides are a vibrant original forest green/blue color. All of the details are sharply struck.There is a small planchet flake on the reverse. The eye appeal is awesome! PCGS has graded only 2 coins-Legend owns the other (this one is slightly nicer!). 1861 PCGS PR67 CAC. The obverse, which we would grade a PR67+, has deep, electric mirrors while the reverse is more subdued. It must have laid on felt for many years. The colors are an original deeper blue/gold/green on the obverse and purple/blue on the reverse. PCGS has graded only 3 coins PR67. The current Collectors Universe Value is $12,500.00

1862 PCGS PR66+ CAC. This monster coin has killer deep, clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors. An awesome mix of electric royal blue/gold/violet/green colors that are totally original swirl all over. Every detail has light frost and is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is incredible! ONLY 550 were minted. PCGS has graded only 2 coins. The current Collectors Universe Value is $5,000.00.

1863/2 PCGS PR66+ CAMEO CAC. A world class unbelievable FINEST graded specimen! Incredibly deep, crystal clear, super clean, and intensely reflective mirrors dominate the surfaces. Only a small hidden planchet flake at 10:00 on the obverse maybe whats keeping this coin from a PR67 designation. An incredible mix of original navy/violet/rose/tangerine colors swirl wildly all over. Every detail is thickly frosted and stands out nicely with extra sharp strikes. The eye appeal will make your jaw drop-and lock. This is the FINEST graded Cameo. 1863 PCGS PR66 CAC. Hard to believe, but this very high end coin was the last coin added to this set! Only some light stray lines keep this coin from PR67. The mirrors are deep, clear, clean, and have bold reflectivity. Both sides are evenly covered by a beautiful mix of navy/evergreen/violet/gold original colors. 1864 PCGS PR 66 CAC. A very pleasing coin. The sleek mirrors are clean, clear, and have strong reflectivity. An even layer of original evergreen/pale gold/blue colors swirl all over. 1865 PCGS PR66 CAC. The mirrors are strong, clear, and have nice reflectivity. Only a few light lines can be seen through a strong glass. 1866 PCGS PR67 CAMEO CAC. This wonderful GEM is tied for FINEST with the coin in the #1 all time FINEST set. Powerful mirrors border on full ultra cameo and are super deep, remarkably clear, are amazingly clean, and are intensely reflective. A heart pounding mix of neon magenta/blue/gold/green original colors swirl wildly all over. Every detail is needle sharp and has thick frost. The eye appeal is incredible! 1867 PCGS PR67 CAMEO CAC. You can only find one small, stray line after pouring over this coin for a while with a very strong glass. Save for that, the coin is perfect! The mirrors are deep, clear, and are amazingly reflective. A killer mix of original evergreen/violet/navy swirl around the peripheries. Every detail is pinpoint sharp and has thick frost. 1868 PCGS PR65 CAMEO CAC. deep, blinding mirrors have amazing clarity, cleanliness, and tremendous flash. You can find a stray line or two only by using a really powerful glass. Some light, original gold toning can be seen around the rims. Every detail is fully struck and has thick full frosting. If you love pretty colored cameoed PR 3CS pieces, then this is a must see! 1869 PCGS PR67 CAC. Superb in every respect! Deep, glittering mirrors are clear, have bold reflectivity and are problem free. A mellow totally original mix of light olive/gold colors swirl all over. 1870 PCGS PR66 CAMEO CAC. Deep, clear, highly reflective, icy mirrors dominate the surfaces. Only a few trivial hard find lines can be seen with a strong glass. Original navy/forest green/purple colors frame the obverse rims and evenly cover all of the reverse. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and exhibits thick frost. The eye appeal is stunning! 1871 PCGS PR65 CAMEO CAC. HIGH END. Only a teenie lint mark keeps this coin from being a PR66 Cameo. It maybe hard to believe, at the time we could not find a better 1871. The mirrors are super deep, have great clarity, and are highly reflective. A band of gold frames the peripheries. Every detail has gorgeous, thick white frost, and is needle sharp in strike. 1872 PCGS PR66 CAMEO CAC. We know this coin traded for at least $7,000.00 at one time. One look and you will not question why.
