3CS 1855 PCGS MS66

No one knows the 3CS series as well as Legend. We have built the #1+2 MS and PR sets. We know how each date does and does not come. We know the rarities, we know every thing about 3CS pieces!

This piece is actually so ULTRA high end, we have resubmitted it 2X! We think the ONLY thing holding it back from an MS66+ or even MS67-strong die clashing (Mint made).

The surfaces overall are exceptionally clean and have a satiny texture. A super strong glowing luster enhances the beautiful and totally original green/pale blue/champagne toning that swirls all over. Every detail is needle sharp in strike. The eye appeal is exceptional!

PCGS 8, NGC 5, CAC 5 (possibly only 4). PCGS has only ONE MS67 higher (which is impounded in the #1 MS 3CS set-the Simpson Collection). The last one prior to this to selling in auction brought $12,925.00 10/2014 (it was an NGC coin). Prior that one brought $19,550.00. We unhesitatingly pronounce this piece to be in the top 2% graded for the date. This is a stunning Type or addition to any SUPERB GEM 3CS set. Your NOT going to get any better!
