A fabulous example of classic rare New Orleans date.

This coin is totally original. Light reddish gold toning peaks from tiny areas scattered all over. The surfaces are incredibly lustrous. Both sides have strong evidence of die clashing and other minor Mint made things. To the naked eye, the coin does appear clan. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The overall eye appeal is terrific!

PCGS 12, NGC 13. Do not be fooled by the pops, you just can’t go outt and find one. The last time one appeared in a major auction was in 01/05 at the coin sold for $6,038.00 (heritage). Opportunity knocks loud here for any serious 3CS or N.O collector.
