A very pleasing SUPERB GEM piece!
Hard to imagine how this delicate coin has survived over 140 years in such a pristine state of preservation! The surfaces are super clean and are satiny smooth. A few teenie toning dots can be seen only with a strong glass. Both sides have a very strong unbroken luster. The color is a fresh and original nickel. Miss Liberty and the all of the details are frosty and are sharply struck. The eye appeal is fantastic!
