Can’t say we have seen many of these either. This is a very flashy and GEMMY piece.
Save for a very minor and invisible to the eye planchet flaw, this coin is essentially perfect! The mirrors do look glassy, clear, clean, and are highly reflective. A very light mist of gold covers both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have nice frost. The eye appeal is exceptional!
ONLY 950 pieces were ever minted. this date and grade is another “silent” stopper for the series. PCGS 5, NGC 19. Opportunity knocks loud here.
