We are amazing at how original this coin is. It obviously was stored some where really secure since it left the bank 139 years ago! Thick satiny surfaces are clean to the naked eye. Even using a strong glass all you can find are a scattered tick or two and a few light frost breaks. The luster is thick and satin also. Both sides are a totally original deep gold color. There are NO spots or discolorations. Miss Liberty and all of the details are frosty and are well struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 781, NGC 436, CAC 140.
