We do not know exactly what PCGS was looking at to grade it just a PR64. There are definitely many worse coins in higher holders (we would not guarantee a PR65 grade if this coin were cracked).
Totally original, this coin has a strong Mint RD color. The mirrors are are actually deep, clear, VERY clean, and have major reflectivity. There are NO spots or discolorations anywhere. Every detail is fully struck and reveals light frost. The eye appeal is fabulous!
This is a PR ONLY date with just 600 pieces minted. PCGS 24, NGC 2. There are no records of any being in auction since 2005! A PR65RD last sold in 2007 for $6,300.00 (We’d guess a nice one is close to $7,500.00+ today). Opportunity knocks loud for any PR 2C enthusiast.
