Shimmering deep, crystal clear, clean, and highly reflective mirrors are an unusual treat. There is not a single fleck (to the left of the date is a die flake). The color is a totally ORIGINAL GEM Mint Red. Every detail is needle sharp in strike and has light frost. The eye appeal is wonderful!
ONLY 950 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 12, NGC 5, CAC 3. The last one of these to sell in a major sale brought $12,650.00 1/2012. Prior to that, one sold for $14,950.00 08/2010. If you are building a top Type or 2C set, this coin will definitely make you proud!
