They don’t come any more fresher or ORIGINAL than this coin is!
Both sides have superior mirrors that are clean, crystal clear, and have intense reflectivity. The color is a rich totally ORIGINAL Mint red with a hint of gold (no, this coin is not turning). One or two teenie spots can be found only if you look really hard. All of the details are needle sharp in strike and have light frost. The eye appeal is tremendous!
Only 600 were ever minted. PCGS 8, NGC 7, CAC 2. PCGS has only graded ONE coin higher. You can find an occasional 1871 (we have one), however this date is one you rarely EVER see PR65 RD or better!
