After handling thousands of certified coins since the grading services started 20 years ago, you’d have thought we’d have handled more of these. NOT! In fact, out side of sets, we have no records that we have ever owned ANY single 1936 PR Washington 25C. Why now? We actually liked this coin!
So many of these that we have seen come dull or have bland toning. This coin has very light mist of gold. The mirrors amazingly caught our eye from the table next door! They are remarkably deep, clean, clear, and have just killer reflectivity. Of course Washington and the details are all well struck. The eye appeal is very pleasing.
PCGS 247, NGC 215. The last one to sell in a major auction brought $1,438.00 02/08 Stacks. Opportunity knocks loud here!
