25C 1932D PCGS MS65

Here is a powerful statement: Legend has bought and sold hundreds of millions of dollars of the rarest, finest, and neatest coins that exist in the past decade. Not one of those coins was a MS65 1932D Washington Quarter! They either were too expensive (we always gravitate towards the insanely colored ones) or were too ugly (more of those are around than the pretty ones). So when we saw this coin and realized it was reasonable, we wrote the check and ran!

The quality offered here is substantially greater than what we have seen graded for the date. Overall, the fields are amazingly clean (there is a HIDDEN small mark in the left obv. and that’s it) and appear sort of satiny. An amazing full booming luster makes the light reddish brown colors that frame the outer details and blend into pewter centers really stand out. Washington and all the details are exceptionally struck. You can easily tell this coin is not a dipped out, recolored, or messed with piece. The eye appeal is VERY pleasing. Most important, (we strongly believe ) if cracked out, this coin would easily MS65 every time!

PCGS 63, NGC 16. recently a few junky ones have hit the auction block and have dragged prices for these down some. Between 2004-2007 these were WHOLESALING for $13,000.00-$20,000.00 easily. granted, that was then this is now, but we need to point this out as we do not feel any of the coins that have sold recently have been nice. There still is only ONE MS66.
