No question this is a totally original piece that has never been dipped or messed with!
Amazingly pristine surfaces do not even have a microscopic flaw. We looked at this coin over and over with a strong glass.The surfaces do appear satiny and smooth. A strong luster shows off the original creamy white/pale gold colors. Miss Liberty and the details are well struck. Only one rivet has minor softness in the shield. The eye appeal is very nice!
PCGS 14, NGC 31, CAC 12. Its been a while since a PCGS MS67FH 29S sold at auction. The last one brought $9,775.00 11/2012 Stacks. It obvious these do not come around with any frequency!
