25C 1918D PCGS MS66FH

$10,950.00

Standing Liberty Quarters in the teens are extremely difficult to locate in true GEM. We couldn’t resist this piece as soon as we saw it. Even the pickiest buyer will like it too!

Remarkably, both sides have ZERO imperfections of any size. The surfaces are smooth and emit a very bold luster. A light hint of pewter toning can be seen when the coin is tilted, otherwise the color is a creamy white. Miss Liberty and the details are exceptionally struck. There is minor weakness on two of the shields rivets, however her head is unquestionably full. The eye appeal is great!

PCGS 17, NGC 11, CAC 1. NONE have been graded higher by either PCGS or NGC. NOTE: Back in Jan 2004 a PCGS coin sold for $10,637.00 Heritage. A marginal piece sold in April for $8,625.00 B+M. According to our records, this is the first 1918D GEM we have ever owned! Opportunity knocks loud here!
