Deep, clear, clean, boldly reflective mirrors beam from all over. Even using a super strong glass you will find NO lines anywhere. A rich but vibrant ORIGINAL mix of pearl green/blue/gold/reddish gold colors evenly swirl together and blanket both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are frosty and have needle sharp stand out strikes. The eye appeal is neat!
ONLY 613 pieces were ever minted. PCGS 10, NGC 15, CAC 4. The last one of these to sell in a major auction brought $8,225.00 (2/13 Heritage). This coin is fresh to the market. It is from an original proof set that was broken up by a dealer (shame on them) late last year. We can’t stress enough how rare this date is to find in GEM. Love to buy 124 year old SUPERB coins for UNDER $5,000.00-to us that seems like a great value!
