You can call this coin BOTH a borderline Cameo and borderline PR67. It IS that nice!
Deep, crystal clear, super clean, and boldly reflective mirrors beam from all over. We really can’t find any problems. The mirrors do have that “watery” look. Some gorgeous reddish gold toning frames the peripheries and rims all over. Miss Liberty and the details are sharply struck and do have decent silvery white frost. We do see some contrast. The eye appeal is really beautiful!
ONLY 727 were ever minted. PCGS 28, NGC 36, CAC 12. This is the ONLY PCGS PR66+ graded! We did buy out of auction for $2,879.00 08/2013 Stacks. We were prepared to pay $3,450.00. So we bought this coin really right and are passing the savings on to you!
Consider building a PR66 25C Barber set. Great value. Should cost around $75,000.00. Not bad! We doubt there could ever be more than 25 sets total built!
